AI does not need to begin with a large technology program. It should begin with a clear business question. Leaders can first identify repetitive work, slow decisions, fragmented customer journeys, and knowledge that is difficult to access. From there, a focused opportunity map can compare value, feasibility, risk, and readiness. The strongest starting points are usually narrow enough to test, important enough to matter, and measurable enough to learn from.
